Gosu 0.8

is Gosu 0.8 much weaker than Gosu 0.3? After winning a game in which the new Gosu made some ludicrous blunders, I had both Gosus playing one another and 0.3 won easily, o.8 again losing pieces generously.

Are you sure you have set it up properly with the subfolder *data*
included and with its book and hashtables in the command line?
Especially without the *weights* files from the *data* folder it will
hardly play chess at all...

You're right! Apparently I unzipped the files without the "keep folder structure" option. So the engine didn't find the "weights" files.

Now Gosu 0.8 plays in a beautiful positional style and without sacrificing pieces. First impression: it's an improvement. Thanks Guenther!
