Glaurung 0.1.4 (off-topic)

Glaurung 0.1.4 is now ready for download. The main difference compared to the previous version is that several search and eval bugs have been fixed, some of the quite serious. As a result, the new version is tactically stronger, and has a better branching factor at high search depths.
My initial test results for the new version are quite promising. I've played three Noomen matches against Glaurung 0.1.3, Fruit 1.5 and Gothmog 1.0 beta 10. The results:
The first match was played on an iMac G5 1.8 GHz, while the others were played on a PIV 2.4 GHz. All matches was played at a time control of 4 2.
Unfortunately, the games are not as pretty as the results. Glaurung plays the most passive, anti-positional and ugly chess you have ever seen, but is somehow still able to win a lot of games.
Glaurung is, of course, not a Winboard engine. That's why I put "off-topic" in the subject line. If announcements for non-Winboard engines are not wanted here, I apologize for posting this message, and will use other forums when announcing future versions.
