Hi Volker:
Since now every time you want to go into the forum must write the complete user name and ID  , I would like to reduce the length of my username. Please indicate how to do it.

Hi,

You have some problem on your computer. I don't have to do this. Whenever you login, there is also a small checkbox below the login box which says
'Login automatically next time' or something similar. Check it when you log in, and next time you won't have to log in, you will be automatically logged in.

To change your username, click on the link named 'profile' from the links at the top of the page (After you have logged in)

Yes. If that doesn't work as expected to delete the cookie of the forum should help. Please see: http://wbforum.volker-pittlik.name/viewtopic.php?t=3020

Hello Pallav
Sorry I forgot to quote before your comments.
I tried the automatic login in my office PC and in my notebook. In both of them do not work and I must type the username and password each time.
I use Windows98.
The above problem begun only about three weeks ago.
cheers,
Pablo

PS: I reduce letters of my username

Have you tried to delete the forum cookie as described here:

http://wbforum.volker-pittlik.name/viewtopic.php?t=3020?

I don't like this chat-style usernames at all.

Hi Volker:
I just tried your hint and ! works !. I had hundreds of temporal forum files and/or related cookies at a Windows folder called "Temporal Files" that do not clean any of this typical cleaners programs.
Thanks,
