I have found a bug which I will not fix till version 0.117 :
- if you add engines to a running tournament, ChessGUI may try to play beyond the end of the tournament (with minor consequencies).

Hi Matthias,

The zip file is no longer divided in subfolders, is that intended?

Best,

I tried to create a tournament with 1352 engines in it.
It let me create the tournament, but when I start it, the gui simply exits.

What is the real limit for the maximum number of engines?

1352 ?? Even my website says max. 1000

ChessGUI 0.119 should use 1000.
ChessGUI 0.118 maybe only 700 ?.

Hi Matthias,

Does the 'test games' feature not work any more?

Hi Gabor,
I have just tested it and it works normally.
- games end after the number of half moves defined in GUI Preferences (default 25).
- if GUI remis book is used, games go at least 2 moves after book.

Best,
Matthias.

Oh, I did not know this. I noticed the engines are thinking even if test moves is set to 24 half moves and book is used up to 12 moves.

Thanks for the answer.

Best to you,
