Linux port of newer versions of TogaII

Hi ,

I ported Toga 14b5c and Toga 142JD back to linux :). See

http://emis.uhasselt.be/~webby/Toga/

I think these sources will still compile under windows. Perhaps someone can verify this.

The porting was not hard. The windows thread api and the posix thread api are more
or less equivalent.

Regards,
Michel

Good job. They compile fine and I did not notice any runtime errors so far. I'll let one of them run in my test group of engines. In a first step engine have to prove they run a big number of games without any errors.

It is reassuring to learn that there is some form of quality control for chess engines!

Hello Michel,

I'm not able to navigate into the sources. Are they still there?

Sorry this is really annoying. .... There has been construction work going on at work and it seems the builders miswired the network. So the server is offline this weekend.

I cobbled together a backup site at

http://alpha.uhasselt.be/Research/Algebra/Toga/

I did this rather quickly so I hope I did not goof up versions.

Michel
