Thanks David,

I made a small test. It seems the developement is going in the right direction. Although I saw 4/70 games lost on time at 2+2 time control.

Hi Volker,

Thank you for the tests. The time losses surprise me though. I have played 10,000 1+1 games, and time did not seem a problem. I wonder if someone [thing] was making illegal moves [Xpdnt and Olithink were both doing that before, and causing their opponents to time out] Just a thought. Are the games otherwise won? Or lost? Is it against a particular opponent?

Oh sorry I didn't look careful enough. I retract my statement and claim the opposite from now on: it weren't four games but three. It was also not xpdnt which lost, but the opponent (two times Amundsen and one time Greko).
