MWITZ WB engine

Postby Denis P. Mendoza » 10 Mar 2009, 15:16

Witz is an open source Chess engine that was originally designed by Pradu Kannan(duu@users.sourceforge.net) and hosted on sourceforge.net.
This modification to the engine, made by Gil Knyazhansky and Merav Zanany from Tel Aviv university, introduces a mutlithreaded calculation environment for the Alpha Beta algorithm mainly used by the engine.

I only saw this by chance. MP implementation is not at the optimum yet as per documentation. It's a project worth monitoring! Maybe Pradu knows about this.
