suggestion for winboard - F9 = resign

in winboard I would like the F9 button to NOT be a resign button. On ICC the F9 button is one of the most common hot keys for chatting.

Who would use this hot key any way.

I guess it would be useful to equip WinBoard with a general option to disable selected accelerator keys.
