Smoother Winboard Chessmen

Hi, would it be possible to get the Winboard Chessmen in a version with smoother edges like they have in Chessbase software?

WinBoard only supports user-supplied pieces through piece fonts, and I think font-rendering always produces sharp edges. Of course it would be possible to supply your own set of bitmap (.bmp) files, and re-compile it using those in stead of the standard bitmaps.

XBoard has options to import user-supplied pixmap files (-pixmapDirectory), so there it would be possible. I think it even comes with a utility to convert ChessBase pieces to pixmaps.
