How can I make it so that crafty does not resign?

crafty sometimes resigns, especially when I let it play out a game against itself from a situation which I feed it.

However this way the educational value is lost to me, because I sometimes can't see *why* it resigns, i.e. I don't get why the situation is hopeless, and I would like to know how the game would further develop.

How can I make it so that crafty does not resign?

P.S.: I am using WinBoard 4.6.2. + Crafty-23.4 PS.

In your crafty.rc file (if you don't have one, create one with any text editor) and enter

resign n

where n is the resign threshold. Enter a very large number, say 99.
