how to play the end part of a game by myself

i would like to play a game played by famous grandmasters from a certain point say from move 30. then, how can i do that? the pgn is loaded. and i am at move 30. kindly suggest me a method as to how can i proceed myself with the next move from this position?

there is a method while playing with arena.go to move 30 for example. make a varient move yourself. it will ask you variation? overwrite. you select overwrite. done. you can proceed the game against the engine.

In WinBoard you would just click the menu item Edit Game in the position from which you want to play, and enterr your move. If you want to play against an engine, you could then click Machine Black or White, as is the case.

To effectively play without clock, you just switch off Auto Flag. The clock will remain running, but you will not be flagged after it reaches zero, but will be ignored.
