Don't want clock expired -----> end of game

Postby Dan-the-K » 08 Oct 2015, 20:12

How do I reset this? :?: In a human - computer game, I want the computer to think for 1 second or whatever, but I'm allowed unlimited time.

Thx, Dan

Untick the Auto-Flag in the General Options dialog, and you can exceed time as much as you want.

You could also give the engine time odds in the Time Control dialog if you don't want to give yourself infinite time. E.g. setting the TC for 1 hour, and specifying a time odds of 60 for the engine, would give the engine only 1 min, while you would have an hour.
