Hello Tony,

I suspect the updates will come 'thick and fast' while Scott is working again on it. Not much fun for those running tournaments I know. I actually make a small mistake with the 310 builds. I left in the debug data so they were a big larger than they should have been. This will give me a chance to rectify that.

I won't post updates anymore for now. Just check back to my site from time to time.

Regards,
Jim.

Sorry, I mean I wont post anymore updates on the forums - updates will of course continue on my homepage.

My tournaments are mainly for my own enjoyment. I am not playing with these engines to publish a serious rating list..I would test 310, 330, 350 etc or anything that had some major work... I would not try 304 and 307, you get my point.

Hello Jim,

Of course I am only one person but I really do not think that the possible annoyance of the all-engines-are only-to-be-stuffed-into-an-engine-tournament group should determine what is useful information.

I am not referring to Tony Thomas incidentally, who runs his tournaments for his own amusement....

The tournament crowd is annoyed with frequent updates but ironically enough, they are also peeved when an engine is undeveloped for years. Creativity should apparently wait on the tournament cycles.

:-)

A simple link with an updated engine version number will do and would be appreciated by some of us.

I mean, for persons who actually do not check your site with the annoying frequency that I do.

:-)

Yes, I am a JA fan. There I said it, I feel free now!

Later.

Point taken. I'll do that. I was just worried about about possibly being labeled a spammer if Typhoon gets updated five times in a week :D

Regards,
Jim.
