I recently got an email from the moderator of playchess.com where someone pretended to have my name and played with Terra.
I don't know what he (the fake Peter Fendrich) said or claimed in my name but I have never used Terra at playchess.com.
That account is deleted by the moderator now.

Yesterday I got another email with this link:
http://rocketchessengines.mylivepage.com/file/241
where Terra 4.0beta was found in my name for download.
I got a copy before it disappeared from that site.

Just to let you know, I never play Terra in public and the last version is 3.4 and there will be no more versions.

Do you have the IP of them? If so we can discuss it by mail. In the past similar things happened here too (some fake postings). I still have the logs. Maybe there are similarities.

I think those are different. They are a huge and quite new
community setting up as much as possible sites with all
kind of fake/renamed/etc. programs.
They also try to infiltrate PlayChess with such accounts
and even tester groups and private authors by offering
'help'...
We had lengthy discussions about some of them and some
of those hacked + renamed + whatever(even commercial)
programs at CCC several times the last weeks.

I have some blackouts from time to time...
Someone once said that I was the programmer of Ruffian and that P-O, the real one, was a fake.
I was honored of course and now we are talking about split personality! Now I am waiting for the reveal of who is the real programmer of Rybka

It's Tony Thomas. Why else do you think he is always so eager to get his hands on the latest RomiChess? That's because, he knows where the real threat is from

You could just be just a Vasik avatar and not even know it!
