Hamsters 0.2 released

Hi,
it's been one year since Hamsters was first released, and finally in the last month or so I have managed to trade a good portion of my nightly sleep for a new version of Hamsters.
Hamsters 0.2 features its very first evaluation function, and a couple of bug fixes. It's hardly a revolution in computer chess, but a nice improvement over 0.0.6. Kiwi is still laughing though... who knows for how long?!?

You can download the Windows version from:

http://www.ascotti.org/programming/chess/hamsters.htm

No other operating system are supported yet, although I actually do all the development on a Mac. Mac OS X and Linux should be in fact supported from the next version.

Thanks alessandro. I first heard about the release from WBEC forum, then I posted about it at talkchess few seconds ago. I am going to play with Hamsters in few minutes.

Thanks guys... I started working on Hamsters again mostly because I planned to play with it in a tournament here in Italy, but ironically an hour after I released the new version the news came out that the tournament will be most likely canceled... oh well...
