Neurosis, new search.

Perhaps you already read that after the Wcrcc event, I finally decided to sit down and rewrite my entire search. Rewriting my search is as close as I'll get to a total rewrite, for which I do not have the motivation, but this gives me many new opportunities as well.
The plan is to make my engine much stronger, hurtling it in the sub-top, instead of the sub-bottom where it is now.
With the new search it's much easier for me to experiment with reductions and all sorts of things, without having to hack too much to get it working, and all parts of search are easier to get to work together and keep track of what it's all doing. My search still is iterative, not recursive.
Still a lot of work needs to be done, but by now I already seem to have something that's considerably stronger then anything I had before, and as several tournaments will soon start again, I will upload a latest development version from time to time to my website. The first one is on there now.
When you start a tournament with Neurosis in it, please use this one over version 2.3, and ofcourse if anyone would like to help me run testmatches against any opponent would be very helpfull too.
There's now lots of room for improvement and it will probably get a lot stronger over the comming months.
I upload only an (Winboard-compatible) executable file, so you'll need to download the files of 2.3 and replace Neurosis.exe with the newer one. (although the executable say's 2.4 already, it's not an official release yet so please write beta or so with the versionnumber when you publish results.)
http://www.geocities.com/tasteofinsanity81/N24beta1.zip
(a direct link to the file, because I cannot seem to acces my site at the moment to put a link on it. Will be there soon then. Normal link will be.: http://www.geocities.com/tasteofinsanit ... rosis.html )
Regards and enjoy,
Stan
