Where has it gone? The URL

does no longer exist.

Hm, someone really using it besides Günther, Leo and me? :-)

Sad, that it is gone anyway.

Hi Kurt,

If that means you want to do some tournaments again under
WB you can also use the WBTM from Pradu which is much easier
to use for people who are not that familiar with command line tools ;-)
(If you insist on using Joris WBTM just drop me a mail)

=> Pradus WBTM

(It has a nice little GUI which is very intuively, you only have to take
care about the note in the readme about engines, which can hang
sometimes! There is a solution for those(just a few from hundreds,
e.g. ProDeo, Ktulu and Tao from the stronger ones) mentioned there.
Joris WBTM would just stop to play on, if a program doesn't unload)

@Volker: meanwhile I exclusively use Pradus WBTM.

Best regards,
Guenther

Looks very interesting. Two questions:

1) Does it support both WB and UCI, or only WB engines?
2) Does it support ultrta-fast time controls (like 10 sec./game)? There are definite problems with such controls in Arena.

Hi Vladimir,

It supports WB only as it is a WBTM ;-) Of course you can use
Polyglot, as Olivier, Leo and lots of other people running
big tournaments/tests do.

Currently it doesn't support games slower than 1 minute,
(even if WB of course does) because I guess it can only use
integers for the tc right now.
This might change in the future though, but you should contact
Pradu. It already allows start positions and a lot more.

Guenther

Hi all

I can confirm that PSWBTM - Pradu's manager - is great, and I use it to run all my ChessWar/OpenWar tournaments.

The version I have can even read the pairings from my swiss pairings software :)

A pity Pradu never sent this version to me :(

Pradu added this very recently, after you decided to switch to round robin system. The version I have can read the paiirings from a PGN file.

Well I switched to RR, because I received no Swiss version
in time ;-)
