I have rewritten a post that I posted here a few days ago. This is the rewrite.
There are two graphics missing on the Nolot 02 page that is in the BruceMoreland.zip file that Olivier has made available for download in his above post. The two missing files can be downloaded below should they be wanted.
Though the two below files are not from the archive.org website and are not genuine Bruce Moreland files, they should both be visually accurate as to what appeared on Bruce Moreland's website.
The first file is the nolot02.gif chessboard graphic.Uploaded with
ImageShack.usThe graphic goes in the 'nolot' directory (overwriting the existing nolot02.gif file). The path is:
- Code: Select all
www.brucemo.com\compchess\nolot
The second file is the nolot02.htm_cmp_zero-plus-one110_bnr.gif (Nolot 02) title graphic.Uploaded with
ImageShack.usThe graphic goes in the '_derived' directory (overwriting the existing file). The path is:
- Code: Select all
www.brucemo.com\compchess\nolot\_derived
Before saving the above renamethis.gif file to the \nolot\
_derived directory, the file needs to be renamed to:
- Code: Select all
nolot02.htm_cmp_zero-plus-one110_bnr.gif
Imageshack would not upload the gif file with its original name so it was uploaded as renamethis.gif.

Notes:
Chess Assistant Light was used to make the nolot02.gif chessboard graphic.
http://www.convekta.com/download.htmI have no idea what was used to make the Nolot title graphics on Bruce Moreland's website. So the Nolot 02 title graphic was made as below.
In my browser the web archive shows the wording "Nolot 02" next to a broken/missing image graphic.
http://web.archive.org/web/200610131816 ... olot02.htmUploaded with
ImageShack.usA screenshot in tiff format was made of the "Nolot 02" wording that is on the archive.org page. Then taking a copy of the 'Nolot 01' title file and converting it from gif to tiff format, and removing the numeral 1, the Nolot 02 screenshot graphic was stitched over the "Nolot 0" wording and then this stitched graphic was saved as a gif file.
The below screenshot shows the 'Nolot 02' archive.org screenshot and the 'Nolot 01' file copy (with the 1 removed) opened in an image editor.

ImageShack.usThis graphic shows the 'Nolot 02' screenshot being moved over the 'Nolot 0' wording of the other file.

ImageShack.usThe final graphic shows that the "Nolot 0" wording of both graphics lined up perfectly. So it is safe to assume I think that the numeral 2 is also correct as to how it appeared in the original (missing) graphic. The "overlap transparency" setting in the below graphic was changed from 50 to 0 so that the numeral 2 would appear white and not hazy.
