New TRACE homepage v0.01beta

Hi all,

I built TRACE a homepage this morning. Its pretty crappy since its my first attempt. But, its there and TRACE versions can be downloaded. I plan to gradually improve the site with CC tourney links, technical details and test results. Eventually.

http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/~john.boyd/

For almost 2 years Leo Djiksman has maintained/hosted TRACE's previous download page. I want to thank Leo publicly. He has been very generous with his time, energy - and patience. It was Leo's WBEC tourney where TRACE made her debut. His encouragement and enthusiasm has helped me all the way. He has my sincere thanks and admiration.

In fact, I liked the old web site so much I stole pieces of it, too. :)

Enjoy!

Hi Ross,

That is a good first attempt :-)

However I suggest using a bit less bright and colourful layout. To read the site is a bit tiresome for my eyes.

Best regards,
G?bor

Good feedback. If I change to a light background that should help. Also, splitting the version history into a separate page would speedup loading.

Thanks!
Ross

Ross

The data sheet that you cribbed from Leo looks strange with all the wrong colors.

Yes, but otherwise the new look seems an improvement. Maybe one size bigger text?

Hi Ross,

Are you Stanta Claus in disguise? :-)
