C++ and the MFC

Postby Leen Ammeraal » 12 Aug 2005, 13:35

I have been using Visual C++ 6.0 for a long time and I would
like to try a newer compiler, preferably dowloadable for free.
My problem is that about half a year ago I revised my
engine with regard to the GUI and I did this using the
Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC), which I had always
avoided before 2005. As far as I know, there is no newer
C++ compiler that is downloadable for free and
that at the same time supports the MFC. If I am wrong,
please let me know.
