Winboard enhancements

Postby mridul » 28 Jan 2006, 19:12

Hi,

Sometime back Daniel Mehrmann had sent out an excellent version with enhancements to winboard.
I used to use that for quite sometime until my hdd crashed.

This week , while in my hunt for winboard enhancements , I came across another excellent set of enhancements to winboard by Alessandro Scotti.

Among others , I particularly liked Daniel's enhancements for online play and analysis.
The split windows , and eval profile from Alessandro's modification are really cool (I have not yet tried the pgn related stuff) : and I absolutely adore the 'theme' concept :-)
Ofcourse , as you can see - I use winboard for analysis , online play and engine-engine matches :-D

Thanks to both of them (and others involved) for the really cool feature set ... now comes the catch - wondering if there is a merge of these two efforts somewhere ?!

Thanks and Regards,
Mridul

In another part of this forum (winboard and related stuff) there is a sticky thread on top where alessandro reports about his progress.
