Volunteers Required

Hello i have finished my java based chess engine and would like people to play it and evaluate it.

It is for my masters dissertation and was programmed over the course of 12 weeks. I have yet to make up the short questionnaires.

It comes in 3 playing flavours. Easy , Medium and Hard. It is very basic however so don't expect to be taxed very hard if you are a regular chess player. It does have some evaluators and unfortunately alpha beta doesn't work on it just now.

So does anyone wish to play a few games and give me some feedback on it?

Thanks in advance.

If i get anyone i'll post again with a link to the program and the questionnaire.

If you send the completed questionnaire to steve.rodger@gmail.com

thanks again!!!

[email me as soon as possible if you encounter any major game playing bugs]

Hello Steve,

I would like to have a look but Rapidshare is suggesting that there are a lot of persons downloading files (in which case you probably have a host of testers :-) ) and that I purchase a premium account.

Of course that is not on.

Later.

Hello again

to play moves you need to type "move a2a4"

the engine should then play an answering move.
