I'm using Crafty 19.17.
Please describe use of the commands "bench" and "adaptive". Where would I find information about them?
Where is Crafty.hlp?
TIA,
Dan

Hi, Dan
Crafty.hlp is included in its source file, you can download it from the following link
http://www.crafty-chess.com/down/Source ... -19.17.zip
A few extracts from Crafty.hlp:
adaptive NPS a b c d........... enables adaptive hash mode.
... ...
bench.......................... runs performance mark.
Best,

Got it, thanks.
I'm not familiar with C. Files other than Crafty.hlp appear to be source code. *.c is C source code, but what is #.h?

The *.h files are header files, which are also part of the c source.
