A bug in Polyglot 1.3 ?

Postby Niyaz Khasanov » 01 Jul 2005, 09:35

Hello,
Winboard cannot "move now" if an engine is attached via Poliglot.
I started an own game against Fruit 2.1, moved 1.a4 and then gave the "move now" command by menu.
Fruit stopped thinking but did not move. I waited a lot of time and closed Winboard.
This is the winboard.debug fragment:
Code: Select all
14340 <first : 12 +13 383 1435814 Nc6 Nc3 d5 d4 Bf5 Bf4 Nf6 Nf3 Nh5 Bg5 h6 Bd2
15220 >first : ?
GameEnds(0, (null), 2)
19120 >first : force
19120 >first : ping 2
19120 >first : quit

The following is the log fragment:
Code: Select all

Hi,

Thanks for posting log files.

I will have a look.
It should be easy to point out what the problem is.

More later,

Fabien.
