A Surprising performance by the Queen 2.42a

Postby Dr.Wael Deeb » 21 Sep 2005, 18:08

Hi,
Through the stages of calibrating my rating list the 2 Deep Shredders:Aggr and Eccentric[my own personality] had to play the Queen 2.42a and I was surprised by the performance of this version....it managed to grab 1,5/6 :D

Deep Shredder 9.0 Eccentric 4,5/6
Deep Shredder 9.0 Aggr 3/6
Queen 2.42a 1,5/6

And that's why somebody had said in the past that the last version is not always the strongest
BTW,I am testing about 5 versions of the Queen:
2.20,2.28,2.36,2.42a,2.45 & 3.07 and the strongest version in my rating list is yet to be discovered :D
Regards,

I think 6 games is really too small sample to make any discussion..

Suppose your have 5 versions of Queen and each next version is a little stronger than previous. How big is the chance that the latest one will score best out of 5, in 6 game match with Shredder (or anything)? I'd say quite little, at least less than 50%. (Intuitively, I don't want to get into calculation :))
