Hi all :-),
Roger, please let Claude participate in our last votings.
Concerning books my vote is biggest book if there are diverse or the one the author recommends.
If a understand Olivier correctly Claude wants to help Ralf and me in Queen class. Here is the list of the last versions Claude. Maybe the one or other programmer wants to have other version in or tell anything else, so we should not start before Tuesday.

Amy 0.87.B
Amyan 1.592 (question to Antonio if we should use 1.593b that seems to be a bit better even)
Dragon 4,5 CF
El Chinito 3.25 (I read in many postings that version 3.4c is better, but I do not have the address from the author to ask for, maybe one of the other testers can ask, if they are in contact)
Fruit 1.5 or 1.5 t(ralala) or JR
Green Light Chess 3.0.3.4
Jonny 2.64
King of Kings 2.56
Movei 00.8.247 s (Moveinow) or 00.8.251
SlowChess 2.93
Ufim 5.01
WildCat 4.0
If Claude agrees SOS and Little Goliath later for gauntlets and hopping between King and Queen Class for better rating calculation.
Best Regards

Movei 00.8.247 s (Moveinow) or 00.8.251
I can confirm that they are the same version.
the version that plays in Leo's tournament is 247.
There are testers who got only some earlier version because I was too lazy to send emails to everybody.
I will probably send Moveinow or equivalent version to testers who need the last version tomorrow.

247s is practically slightly faster than 247 and it is the only non cosmetic difference but the files that come with it are called 251 because I changed the number of version that is defined(I also tried other things and canceled them).
I sent it to dan corbit with the name Moveinow and did not know how to call it
because I assumed it is a temporary version and I will do some changes.
You called it 247s when s is for speed but I send it for the infinite loop with the name 251s because the version is 251.
I have newer versions than this version but I am not sure if it is better and the newer version was not compiled by Dann Corbit to be faster so I decided to use a version that was tested.
I thought to do some changes and test again but I also wanted to test the tested version in many games with different time control on fast hardware in order to compare later a new version with some changes that I believe to be productive(espacially when I understood that this tournament is not going to help me to know what I want to know because I am mainly interested in imrovement in the engine with no learning).
Unfortunately I had problems that prevented me to work much about Movei in the last weeks so I have not a new version that is well tested and inspite of some bugs in time managment with ponder on I believe that the bug is not very important for comp-comp games(otherwise movei could not be second place in Leo's tournament in ponder on) and I prefer not to give a version when hopefully I fixed a bug in time management and also a bug in evaluating simple positions after null move but maybe generated other bugs.
Note that I will probably be able to check emails in my regular email only tommorow and I did not have access to my email in the last 40 hours.
If people want to tell me something that is important that I respond earlier they can use my hotmail account

Hello Uri,
you know about our decision like in case of List that engines without book have to play "as they are". Do you have a book for Movei? For Ralf and me it is not important, because we play with Nunn positions what also is allowed. But maybe for Claude and other testers who will come later.
Best Regards

I have a book for movei
The problem is which book to use for movei.
I can use the book of Dann Corbit that is used in the infinite loop and I can use a smaller book.
What format is going to be used?
Matchs between engines or tournament when after a game the engine play against another engine?

Hello Uri,
in Queen class of course with 4 computers so far, two will have to run this double round robin twice to have the same amount of games than in King and Bishop Class (132 in the beginning, further steps will be decided by the testers that want to continue). Maybe those who are ready with their Class begin with Rook Class already, if no new testers apply before.
