Hello David,
I do not find any executable at your link and inside the source folder there is an Xpdnt executable with faulty configuration.
Please your comments,
Thanks,

Hi Pablo,

Just to be sure:

Are you running it with the following files/directories in the same directory as xpdnt.exe:

obook.txt
settings.ini
/logs

?

Hi David,
Yes, I put xpdnt.exe inside the folder together whith obook.txt and settings.ini.
Further more, previous xpdnt.exe version open OK.
Please download the executable you have at the web and test it.

Hi Pablo,

David's Win32 builds also need the 'logs' folder in the Xpdnt engine folder.
My compiles don't need this.

regards,
Jim.

Hi Jim,
I tried with the "Logs" folder included, but still David xpdnt.exe indicate "configuration error".
I will wait your win32 xpdnt build.
Best,
Pablo

Xpdnt 080904 ran fine on my Windows XP box, but I got this error on my XP 64 machine, which is probably the same message Pablo was getting:

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

I'm pretty sure this is something to do with missing Visual Studio 2008 runtime files, because I was able to get rid of the error by installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86).

Hi Tony
You are a genius!!!. I downloaded and installed the MS Visual C+2008
and Xpdnt.exe opened OK.
Thanks,
Pablo
