I guess we should collect a few links which offer a free online service for generating
diagrams from FEN at runtime and without html code(because that cannot be used in the forum)?

Obender, OliThink and Xpdnt are all prone to doing silly things like this occasionally. I told the OliThink and Xpdnt authors a while ago on CCC and provided some pgns for them. I hope they can pinpoint the problem because both of those engines have quite a nice playing style.
