Can somebody please send me this engine? The website has Reger 0.07 listed. Was 0.09 withdrawn?

Maybe the one on the website is 0.09?

Not a sure way to check it but I did a text search on my computer where I had downloaded the exe file and 0.07 returned no results but when doing a search for 0.09 the search result returned the exe file.

Of course that would only be if the author did put the version in the exe file.

Edit: The one on the website is 0.09. When loaded in Winboard it shows the 0.09 version number.

I must say H.G. Muller that I know you've had the Polyglot book option since several past versions of your Winboard GUI, but I never really paid much notice to it.

But here you have Reger, as an example, a Winboard protocol chess engine without its own opening book...and with a few simple clicks in the Winboard GUI...Reger can use a Polyglot opening book.

Nice!
