The released version already does this, but only in Edit-Game mode. I have discovered that in practice this is not very convenient, although better than nothing. Problem is that you cannot simply restart the engine when you are done with the clock, because you of course do that when it is not your move and WinBoard does not allow you to set the engine to play a color that is not on move. So you have to wait for the opponent to move, and by that time of course you have forgotten you should still do it...
But in Machine White / Black mode, left-clicking the clock is for claiming the flag.
Perhaps I should use right-click and Shift + right-click for subtracting or adding a minute to the clock, respectively, in all modes. By convention Shift + right-click emulates a middle-click on a two-button mouse, but that would be OK, as on a real 3-button mouse the middle button is not used for anything. (Well, perhaps it also claims the flag, but it is not really neaded for that.) So left = flag, middle = add 1 min, right = subtract 1 min would be a quite workable assignment, and in the next release I might switch to that. (And also implement it in XBoard, which does not have it at all yet.)
