xboard -fcp fruit -fUCI -scp /usr/games/Rybka3Linux -sUCI -mg 8 -lgf NoomenTestSuite2006.pgn lgi -2

(-lgf = -loadGameFile, and -lgi = -loadGameIndex, where -1 or -2 means auto-increment, assuming there are multiple games in the pgn file.)

It has perfectly :D earned but was necessary to register/usr/games/NoomenTestsuite2006.pgn
Code: Select all
root@ubuntu:~# xboard -fcp fruit -fUCI -scp /usr/games/Rybka3Linux -sUCI -mg 60 -loadGameFile /usr/games/NoomenTestsuite2006.pgn -loadGameIndex -2
root@ubuntu:~#

But why at me it is necessary to register through/usr/games/it is possible to correct it :?:
1. And one more question the played parties in a match automatically remain, or it is necessary to do it through an option?
2. Where it is possible in details will familiarise with commands in Xboard?
In advance thanks. :D

Well, there is a parameter PATH that tells the system where to look for any files you mention (when their name does not start with /). You can see how it i set by typing

echo $PATH

For most people /usr/games is one of the directories in the path. There are commands to alter the PATH. I am not sure how exactly you have to do that on Linux; perhaps PATH := $PATH:/usr/games

XBoard comes with a manual file that describes it; type

man xboard

and it should be displayed in your terminal window.

the option -sgf FILENAME will cause saving of all games on the mentioned file. The filename is remembered in the winboard.ini file, so you can also enter it through the options -> save... menu dialog, and save settings.

Code: Select all
xboard -fcp Igorrit -fUCI -scp /usr/games/Rybka3Linux -sUCI -mg 110 -loadGameFile /usr/games/Test.pgn -loadGameIndex -2 -saveGameFile ~/results.pgn

This would make the file results.pgn in your home directory (~). You could also make it anywhere else, as long as you hae write permission there.

Dear enormous H.G.Muller you thank you! :) For me yet question what needs to be sent command, that the match of rendering-engines started with the set control of time for example 1 minute, in Xboar by default starts from 5 minutes and it is necessary to correct by hand during a match. Beforehand thank you! 8-)

Code: Select all
xboard -fcp Igorrit -fUCI -scp /usr/games/Rybka3Linux -sUCI -mg 110 -loadGameFile /usr/games/Test.pgn -loadGameIndex -2 -saveGameFile ~/results.pgn -timeControl 1 -timeIncrement 0

The key options are -timeControl (-tc), -movesPerSession (-mps) and -timeIncrement (-ti). When the -ti value is >0 you will play incremental TC, (and it gives the increment per move in seconds), when it equals 0, you play sudden death. When it is -1, the -mps argument will be used to play mps move per tc minutes. So the above example is for a 1-min sudden-death game.

Respected H.G.Muller! For a long time I did not leave posts here:-)
How to start the infinite analysis of a position with cursor Rybka3Linux from a command line? Parametres same as well as posts above.
With this position 4rbk1/p4ppp/1p6/rq1pP3/5PP1/2P2Q1P/P2RRBK1/8 w - - 0 28
With this position 4rbk1/p4ppp/1p6/rq1pP3/5PP1/2P2Q1P/P2RRBK1/8 w - - 0 28, and quantity cpu =4
