Coordinate notation for Crafty?

Postby Anonymous » 09 Nov 2005, 19:13

Is anyone aware of a way (/compile) to make crafty output coordinate notation (e.g. a2a3)? I am making my own client which does not keep the state of the pieces internally, and the algebraic notation used by Crafty is very inconvenient. Any help would be appreciated.

You could modify the source of crafty.

Also, you could take the output after the fact and run it through PGN-Extract, which translates to many different formats.

Ah, thanks. I think I'll try modifying the source, but the FTP server seems to be down. Does anyone know where I can find the source for 20.1?
