Mscp engine update

Postby Jim Ablett » 05 Nov 2004, 20:42

MSCP 1.5a

Consider this an alpha release for testing. Marcel van Kervinck (Author) will be releasing full official version when it's ready
Changes:

1. Winboard time controls (complete) - (TSCP source code - With Tom Kerrigan's permission - Thanks Tom!)
2. Resign - (-900 score three times will make mscp resign) (complete)
3. Draw offer and accept (very basic - based on moves and captures count)
4. 50 move rule (incomplete - only checks properly for white)
5. Adjusted/changed piece square tables/values for stronger play (complete)
6. Stronger/larger opening book (converted a PGN of GM games 2700 ELO and higher)
(99% complete - a few bad lines maybe)
7. Display output now Arena gui compatible. (complete)

If original compile (AthlonXp optimized) doesn't work for you, here's an mmx version.

Angelfire doesn't accept direct links so you have to do this >

right-click link
choose > copy shortcut
click on browser address toolbar > clear it
right-click on browser address toolbar
choose > paste
hit > enter

You may have to turn off any download manager too.

MSCP beta

Postby Guenther Simon » 06 Nov 2004, 15:34

Of course I did like you said in your first post.
Moreover I don't use any download manager,
but still I get an error message that the file is not
found or does not exist.
Are you sure the link is right?

Regards,
Guenther
