Asimov 1.0 My Minichess program!! check it!!

Hello everyone, this is my first chess program who works fine...is a MIniChess Variant Version of 5x6.. isnt playing very hard but it's playing decently.
I work everything in VB6, so is not so fast in slow computers...my pc have a AMD Athlon 2.7 ghz and 2 gb ram and there he plays really fast.

IMPORTANT: THE PROGRAM HAS AN OWN GUI AND ITS ONLY PLAY WITH WHITE PIECES ..thi is beacause I have no time to finish the gui for the two colors.

Could you make it work under WinBoard, so that you could automatically play against other WinBoard engines that support the variant?

Thanks Muller! I didnt know wich programs play this variant.. I dont know how to setup Arena to play in this variant, it is posible?
please tell me how or some programs if you know!

No program plays it yet, but that could change, of course. (E.g. it should be easy for me to configure Spartacus to play it, and perhaps Nebiyu or Sjaak would be interested too. I don't know about ChessV, btw, that supports a lot of variants already.)

I don't think Arena does support any variants. On WinBoard you would have to provide a file with a FEN of the initial position (say ministart.fen), and then use the additional options

/boardWidth=5 /boardHeight=6 /loadPositionFile="ministart.fen"

assuming only normal chess pieces appear (I have not looked up the exact rules of this variant). You could put the options on the install line of the engine, so that they automatically get applied when you select that engine. The engine in that case would have to specify that it supports the deviating board size, through the WB command at startup:

It wouldn't install on my Windows 7 machine.
I didn't understadn the instructions, so maybe I didn't click in the right places.
