Hello,

I asked the Convekta-ChessOK support (Alexander Zhuravlev), but no Houdini freeware is hosted there. And it seems that my email to the author remains without reply until today. If anynody knows a valid download-link of previous freeware editions of Houdini, please let me know.

1.5a is still available on the Houdini chess engine website.

Anyway, you might want to take a look at the readme.txt file that is in the 1.5a zip file download. It has something in it about not redistributing the files without permission from the copyright holder. True about the earlier versions, too?
