Just saying hello...

Postby Roger Brown » 07 Nov 2004, 05:11

Hello all,

Just saying hello to all of you who made the move over to the new forum.

It is the same place with a different feel and look but hey, home is where the heart is.

Thanks for making the new forum a home.

No, Volker has not fired me so I intend to be as crabby and miserable and longwinded as ever.

:)

Thanks much for your understanding!

Later.

Hi Roger :) ,

fine to have you back. I missed your postings.

All is taken much too seriously here and there are rarely amusing comments I love so much, like those from Dan when he wanted to give advice to Volker how to be more successful in chess.

And who else if not you could give us a more relaxed mood :D .

Have fun
Heinz

Hi Roger,

like Heinz already has written: Nice to have you back...

And:

It is the same place with a different feel and look but hey, home is where the heart is.

haven't heard very often something that is more true... Myself I would also prefer something similar to the old parsimony-style forum, but my heart belongs to winboard, so I take what I get... :) And after all, it's not as bad as some think, it has some other nice options...

Hi Roger:

I second Heinz - welcome back. As you absence grew I worried that the storm might have done you more damage than you let on. Hope that's not the case.

Dan H.

ps Heinz - I'm told I have a warped sense of humor. I only hope Volker took no offense.

welcome back.
i allways liked your rantings, reminds me of some of the
fellows at the bar. ;)
the new forum is nice.i like the new logo.
perhaps though they could take the old king queen logo, make a smaller
version and put it on the page somewhwere.
under the new logo slightly to the right.sort of like a trade mark.
a little something from the old home.
regards
mike
by the time i get there,i'll be there

Hello Dan,

"warped sense of humour"?

Volker's sense of humour is so warped that it is in an entirely different space time continuum from himself. He appreciated the advice...

Now if his game would actually improve!

Later.

Ps. Thanks to all who welcomed me. Blush, blush.
