Is the latest Glaurung the strongest?

I have results which shows that a previous version of Glaurung is showing an awesome performance in one of my tournaments for entering the rating list
It's not a statistical noise nor a dose of good luck

This depends on how you define "the latest Glaurung" and "strongest". If "the latest Glaurung" means Glaurung CCT8 and "strongest" means "strongest when playing on a single CPU computer", then you are probably right: The latest Glaurung is not the strongest; Glaurung 1.0.x is stronger (but not much).

If, on the other hand, "the latest Glaurung" means Glaurung 1.0.x, you are most certainly wrong. There is no doubt that Glaurung 1.0.x is much stronger than Glaurung Mainz and all previous versions. Have a look at the CEGT list, for instance.

I mean "The Strongest" using 1 cpu and not the SMP version you released
