Languages temporarly removed

At the moment only English and German is available as board language. I have noticed that only a blank page is displayed when the user changes the language when other languages as German or English are used.

This seems to have something to do with the threaded view. Even now not everything works perfect if someone uses German. There is no option in the profile to switch between the flat and threaded view.

This is highly annoying and I'm thinking about to remove the MobyThread mod at all. If a solution is found only those languages will be reinstalled which hac been used by more than 5 users. These are:

French
Italian
Spanish
Dutch.

Personally I don't think your forum needs the extra threads option.
You've had all sorts of problems occur also since applying the changes. Even though I delete the cookie, I still have trouble logging on.

I'm afraid you are right. In general I'm disappointed of this mod.

- It destroyes the possibility to see which post has been read

- It somehow interferes with the language files in a way I don't understand yet.

- It only looks like as threads are available. Real threads are in newsreaders with all the advantages of automatic ignore/ follow threads or killfiling users.

The mod is sometimes usefull when following long threads and you can jump easily from one post to the other without scrolling thru the pages.


After some days I possibly start a poll if this thread mod is really needed.

I think I've finally got it sorted Volker.

I was able to log on sometimes, but not most of the time.
I thought I'd deleted the necessary cookies, but I'd forgotten to delete the cookie from my Mozilla Firefox folder also.
