CEGT Website and Blitz Ratinglist update

Postby Wilhelm Hudetz » 02 Jun 2006, 14:40

Hi All :)

the website is updated with new design :) I hope you enjoy it.
(maybe you must clear your browser cache or reload)

Some little changes in the Ratinglists - Chessmaster ratinglists are now on
a own page and in the other lists will only be the best setting and default.
All CM-CM games are deleted for ratings, only games against other programs.

Blitzratinglists are updated.

Have fun

Best regards

Hi Heinz,

CEGT-Team / Wilhelm

For me only one menu works, 'Testers + Conditions'.
The last two give:
Error 403: Forbidden!
All other ones seem not linked at all.

Edited: Now the whole page is forbidden...

Hi Guenther,

seems all to work, please take a second turn.
linked are the words beside the tabs, because there are more than one link.

Best regards

The forbidden error is gone now, but I have a design suggestion
though, as most buttons don't have multiple links it would be
better to link those. It isn't a too good design decision to have
a link as text beneath a menu button and having the button itself unlinked. This will irritate a lot of users.
At least button 1,2,3 and 5 can be linked directly.
It is also possible to show mouse on over informations in case
you want to show more info than the button titles.

This works like e.g.

<A HREF="xyz.htm" TITLE="Text displayed on mouse over">CEGT XYZ</A>

Here the text after the title tag will be displayed on mouse over
the link.

May be you'll find also a better solution for those buttons, which
shall link to multiple pages, e.g. open sub menus.

Best regards,
Guenther

Hi again Wilhelm,

Please send me a mail to r_w_b_c@gmx.de(but without underscores!)
and I will send you a fixed html version back, which displays the
text for the relevant buttons only with mouse on over.
Of course if you don't like it you are not obliged to use it ;-)

Best regards,
Guenther
