Gosu loosing on time

The new Gosu lost 30/36 games on time here. Time control was 5minutes initially + 5 seconds per move.

I used the Linux version (which claims to be v 0.11). All games played on my XP2000+ with ponder on. OS is Linux (Ubuntu 6.06).

Atleast you can play with it. I have tried it in two different computers and it isnt working on either one of them. This is my third one with dial-up connection, I am waiting for the download to finish. Since you played with Ponder on, it might well be a ponder problem. Have you played any games with Ponder off?

I know that you played with ponder on..I was merely asking if you were able to reproduce the problem with ponder off. I have seen similar problems with Romichess a while back, it lost games on time with ponder on, but it had no problems playing with ponder off.

I had emailed the programmer about the problems with new gosu and there is an updated info at the homepage.

I am aware of the problems with the new version. I am currently abroad and can not fix them now. I will do my best to release a properly compiled version as soon as possible, after 17th August
