Typhoon hash usage

Please excuse my ignorance, but I cannot get Typhoon 1.00-269 to use any more than about 48mb hash.
I have tried all the things I can think of without success (including the homepage information).

I'd really appreciate it if somebody could clearly explain how I can get Typhoon to use either 64mb hash or 128mb hash.
