My experiments with BookThinker+Arena

I tried to make GK to work under Arena using BookThinker.

What I get is this :

As white, BookThinker plays only the first move and gets back to GK for the next moves.

As Black, GK plays from the start (BookThinker is not used).

I don't want to post too many debog files here... Please could somebody try the experiment ?

Which version of booktinker do you use? I'm testing Alex WBTM and it turned out the newest version doesn't work for me at all. I can create books but they are not used. Older versions work fine. I *guess* this is a problem with bookthinker.

Out of book immediately although everything was created using all the newest versions of makebook, bookthinker...
This happened under Winboard.

That's the same version I have problems with. I can sent you two old version Alex send me for testing. Right now I'm working on the diagrams and I don't have time to test other things.

Version 2.1a works if you rebuild the book (books created with the last makebook won't work).

I tested the broadcast too, and it is OK, very good news for my D tournament.

GK was easy to set up (WB engine, no command line), I still have to look at some other engines).
