El Turco configuration

Postby Anonymous » 25 Nov 2004, 15:15

The new El Turco does not have any documentation at all. Has anyone tried this engine yet? According to TaskInfo, this engine uses 58 mb hash on my system. Is there any way to adjust hash size? Any other command line options?

Also a request to new engine authors ... Please include some documentation with your engine release. :-)

If it's a Crafty clone, it's a weak clone. :-)

By the way, there is an updated version, El Turco 0.89.2.

I'll hazard a guess - Filipe Maia's email server address ends in .se

Code: Select all
xray.bmc.uu.se

Isn't that a Swedish address?

Jim: You are near.!!
I bet he is a portuguese young student studying in a Swedish University.
If you take the last part of his URL (/Elturco) you will see a complete set of photos taken by him or friends with some text, where is possible to deduct his nationality and the swedish university outskirts.
Bye,
Pablo

He has posted on Leo's forum, ie:

Leo may know more. I just checked his site but I didn't find an info sheet on El Turco.

A bit of trivia: This quote is frequently attributed to Sherlock Holmes, but He never made that statement (:!: :!: ), not even once in all of 4 short novesl and 56 short stories that Arthut Conan Doyle wrote (I've read them all)

Maybe I should have said .. Basil Rathbone playing Sherlock Holmes.
That's very interesting though, very similar to the phrase often attributed to James Cagney . "You dirty rat". He never, ever said that either apparently.
