New engine: Frank & GSEI site

Postby Alex Brunetti » 10 Nov 2007, 11:46

Frank 0.58 by Mauro Mazzieri. Sources released on 2002, rediscovered just now. Strength <1800. Compilation by Dann Corbit. It's available in the download section of the GSEI site http://e4e6.com/g6.

This site is the reference for all italian engines, with official dates, versions, sites and so on. Corrections, suggestions and link exchanges are welcome.

Thanx, Alex

Hi Alex,

The path to the book file is hardcoded to an old path on Mauros machine
in the exe at least 10 times ;-)
(-> /home/ramaz/frank/frank/book.txt)

Hello Guenther,

that path is just trash remained in some blocks of unallocated space in the executable or so. The book path has to be specified into the command line (or via an environment variable) thanx do Dann. The example frank.bat works fine.
