Micromax on xboard

hi,
i have been trying to try out Micromax on xboard under linux (fedora8). always comes back with broken pipe error. can any body please suggest how to fix this?

what does your micro-Max executable print when you run it from the command line?

Also i have sent you an email attachment showing the debug report and the gcc failure to compile. thanks.
