Wiboard under Windows Vista?

Postby Chessboy » 26 Mar 2008, 10:37

Hello!

I´ve got a new PC - with windows vista.

I´ve tried to install Winboard 4.2.7 b. But I get the message: "Fatal Error. Unrecognized Argument/MoveHistoryFont.

What can I do?

Sounds like you have a winboard.ini file that does not match the version of WinBoard you are running. Either delete winboard.ini from the folder you run WinBoard from, or (if you don't want to lose your other settings)edit it and delete the line starting with "/moveHistoryFont=".

Or download WinBoard 4.3.13 from my website, where the winboard.exe is disguised as "alpha.tst", and replace your current winboard.exe with it. That version does know about the /moveHistoryFont (probably a WinBoard_x feature).
