Another thing. When I look at this thread I can see that Reinhard has member number 01, that's fine but Ciro, Pallav and me all have number 26.
How can that be?

Hm, thank you for pointing this out. I don't know where you see the member number but I see the counter of the number of posts seems not to work properly. I guess there is some kind of inconsistency in the database. I'll do my best to correct that. However I have (unfortunately) some other priorities.

Off-topic: Some weeks ago my monitor was broken and I changed it to a LCD screen. At this occasion I changed my graphics card too what leeded to a mystical speed-up of my XP 2000+ by 35%. Because I also add an additional harddrive to my computer I noticed increasing temperature problems. After a while it came out the fan of the CPU cooler started and stoped from time to time by random and I ordered a new one.

In the meantime I noticed that I couldn't boot Fedora in X mode because it didn't recognise the new graphics card. By reinstalling Linux I had to notice that Fedora and Windows have totally different opinions how a partition table should look like resulting in initialising the hardrive. However after a while I could convince both to live peacefully together in my computer and could run both OS without problems.

Yesterday the new fan arrieved and I disassembled the whole computer to mount the new fan. After assembling the computer again (what suspiciously didn't cause any problems) I now have to notice that the damned machine doesn't boot at all. Fortunately I can use my wife's notebook to post here.

Therefore I have the following to-do-list:

1.) make my computer run again
2.) finish the re-installing of all the software
3.) analyse the database problem

Regards

Peter, where do you see the member number? I only see the number of posts. I see Reinhard has written 190+. One is definitely wrong.

Confused

Volker

P.S. My PC is up again and very silent now!

I guess that he see the day in the month that the member Joined.

Reinhard joined in 1.10 so he see 1.
Peter joined in 26.9 so he see 26 same for Ciro so he see 26

I was lazy to check for pallev but I guess it is the same.

Hm, if I use exactly the same settings as Peter (yes I can see them) I see:

Ciro
Code: Select all
Blev medlem: 26
September 2004
Inl?gg: 34
Fr?n: Italy

Pallav
Code: Select all
Blev medlem: 26
September 2004
Inl?gg: 48
Fr?n: Bangalore, India

And if I use your settings I see (for you):

Code: Select all
Location: Tel-Aviv

I guess Blev medlem means the same as "Joined" and Inl?gg has the same meaning as "Posts". But maybe Blev medlem means "Member number" too. Someone speaks Swedish here?

I do!
Blev medlem: 26 means Became member: 26 and I interpreted that as Became member number...
Just the day of the month doesn't say much I believe!

But it continues with
Code: Select all
September 2004
Inl?gg: 34

in the next lines. Possibly I can change the language file. What are the usual abbrevations for the months in Swedish?

If I was more careful with my reading the problem wouldn't even arise...
Now it can't be misunderstood even by me
