windowsxp and lg2000v39

windowsxp and lg2000v39

hi all,
my new machine is a 2.53 ghz celeron D with windows xp.
in ics/winboard mode lg hangs about 2 or 3 moves out of book.
or resigns in equal positions.
i've run the compatability wizard and still the same problem.
any idea's concerning this.
help much appreciated.

If you have ponder=on, then set it off and its probably 'fixed'.
Else I dont know :)
