Question about GreenLightChess

Postby Guenther Simon » 17 Dec 2004, 19:23

Does anyone have a GreenLightChess book bigger than 600 KB
from a 3.00 version _except_ the 3.00.34 book?
I am asking because I noticed too late the small exception text
on GreenLights web site, which says that the new version can
use any 3.00 book _except_ the 3.00.34 book!
In a test tourney I experienced exactly this and GLC simply
did not use that book.
May be some others also overlooked this...

I should have said > 700KB as the only book I have for a version 3.00 X
except 3.00.34 is around 690KB.

I believe that Mogens Larsen has a larger v3.00 compatible book he was working on.

I've got one that's 6.15MB in size, from around April 2003.

There seems to be a current one by him available from this page http://www.moq.dk/download1.htm

Cheers, Tim.
